Outside Health Starts Inside
A safe place to reflect, refocus, re-energize, and return to life.
The Ranch
Hiatus Ranch sits on 42 acres that will include living quarters for up to 5 veterans. It currently has a hay barn, a ranch house, and an indoor riding arena. We will provide a minimum 30-day experience for combat veterans to stay on the ranch, interact and care for horses cattle, sheep, alpaca, pigs, donkeys, goats, and other rescue animals. Participants will have daily chores and projects to accomplish.
When we are able to take space in environments that are intuiting supportive, structured, and secure, we all are most able and likely to breathe more deeply and pause to reflect our lives-where we’ve been, and where we desire to go. At Hiatus Ranch, we envision being a world-renowned provider of safe spaces that allow some of the most vulnerable of us to breathe and reflect and regain control of our lives.
